Want to provide logs but not mess with the log uploader, here are the steps. If you want to run the uploader for live logging – I will provide you our join sekrats.
Step one: Ensure “Advanced Combat Logging” is enabled. You will find this under Options -> System -> Network. (Yes this placement in the UI makes complete sense)
Step two: When you go into the raid, start your log with the command /combatlog (if you crash, swap toons, otherwise quit the game, you will have to /combatlog again when you come back. You do not if you die, zone out and in, or have an epiphany)
Step three: When you’re done, stop the combat log with the command /combatlog
Step four: Send log to me. You will find it under something like C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft_classic_era_\Logs
I will upload le logs and name it appropriately after you.
